GenExp

GenExp is an interactive web based genome browser being developed by UPC. It integrates and displays data available on the Distributed Annotation System (DAS) (BioDAS.org).

A tutorial is available to help you start using this tool.

 

 

Usage

To begin, select an organism from the "Organisms" selector, then choose an entry point (mainly chromosomes) from the "Entry Point" combobox. Then the "Tracks" menu will be enabled and data tracks can be added by simbply selecting them from the menu. To see the genomic sequence, add a "Reference Sequence" track.

 

• Move the view by dragging the mouse while the left button is pressed

 

• Zoom in and out using your mouse wheel or by using the slider on the left of the window
