GenExp - An Intractive Genome Browser

GenExp is an interactive web based genome browser being developed by Alggen group in UPC. It is currently based on release 36.1 of the NCBI assembly.

 

Usage

• Movement
  
  • Move the view by dragging the mouse while the left button is pressed
  • Zoom in and out using your mouse wheel or by using the slider on the left of the window
  • Right click on a feature in order to open its exetended information window


• Windows
  • Double click anywhere in the genome to open a new window centered on the clicked base and at base level zoom
  • Use the menu to open new dependent and independent windows


• Tracks
• Add track selecting the in the toolbar
• Identify, move and remove tracks using the control buttons on the left.
  
  •   Track info
  •   Move the track one position down
  •   Remove the track
  •   Get a file with the track's features information. Currently Unimplemented.
